In September, the fishing is great but so is the hunting. We offer various packages (see our rate sheet) for small game (grouse, rabbits, wolves), ducks, bear and moose.

Small Game Hunting Resident and nonresident grouse (ruffed & spruce) hunts are available beginning Sept 15. Waterfowl season opener varies but is usually in the first two weeks of September. Our road system, the number of rivers flowing in and out of the lake and the lack of competition from other hunters in our area combine to assure you a successful hunt.

Bear Hunting Black bear season now opens on August 15. We establish bait stations weeks before your arrival to ensure you will have a choice of active baits to hunt. If you are interested in a bear hunt, either bow or rifle, call us for more details.
